Hide author don't work

Hi
I just puchased the blog add on. I'm trying to hide the author but not the date, this won't work. It only hides the author when you also hides the date.
I'm using child theme on a local machine.
Same goes when you try to hide categories but not the comments.
Another problem: there is no menu displayed on mobile
Sorry for all these post, but I can't edit the old one. The menu problem was because I imported style.css in the child theme.
Did removing the import also fix the other issues? :)
