Hide admin bar for all users

Since I activated GP as my theme, I have been unable to hide the (top) admin bar for all users.
I tried to hide it the regular way (in the User Profile), I tried several plugins and several snippets in functions.php, but the bar remains visible.
Is there a setting in GP that I am missing?
Thanks!
GP doesn't touch the admin bar functionality at all.
Have you tried a plugin like this?: https://en-ca.wordpress.org/plugins/hide-admin-bar-from-non-admins/
Ok, good to know, thanks.
Tried the plugin: no joy.
It's driving me mad! ;)
There's lots of plugins and functions out there: https://wordpress.org/plugins/global-admin-bar-hide-or-remove/
One of them is bound to work :)
Update: found one that did the trick.
Selective hiding does not work, in my case, only complete removal does, with this plugin:
https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-toolbar-removal/
Still quite frustrating though.
Interesting, it might have something to do with user roles on your website.
Glad you found something that works.
