on this site, i have a font awesome home button in my primary navigation. when i navigate to my contact and resources pages, this icon disappears. any idea why?

You need to turn off Font Awesome Essentials in “Customize > General”.
That should fix it 🙂
huh. ok. thanks. i swear i had already once unticked this for the site, i thought. does it reset? can you explain what that option does/doesn’t do? i’ve run into it as the fix a couple times already when icons weren’t showing at all, but since the icon showed on some pages, but not others, it seemed like something else.
It definitely shouldn’t reset.
That option has actually changes in the next version of GP. The built in icons (essentials) are loaded by default, and that option has been changed to a simple “Enable Font Awesome” option.
