Hero with slider or video

Hi there,

i want to create a page hero with an image slider - and maybe later a video as "image" in that slider.

I found the prime template uses an imager slider - and - if i am not wrong - is done mostly with gp and gb.

But i couldnt find out how this is done myself. Any hint would be great.
At some later point i would like to add a video into that slider that auto-starts - but thats something for later and maybe another question. But if you got a "possible yes/no" answer for that already - i would read that also ;).
