Julie
Hi there,
On my home page, my three latest posts are shown. I would like to change that so that the latest 6 posts are shown on the home page. Can you please direct me how to do that? I would also like to add a button under my latest posts that people can click and be directed to my other posts in my blog. How would I do that?
Thank you so much and happy new year!Julie

I was able to work out how to add a button after my posts on the home page! Yay! But I’m still not sure how to change the number of posts shown on my home page from 3 to 6.

Hi Julie,
Our best recommendation would be to add a GenerateBlocks Query Loop Block instead. Reference: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/query-loop-overview/
There are some tutorials on YouTube showing how the use it as well.
As of now, you’re using a WPSP list. To change the posts shown from 3 to 6, go to WP Show Posts > All Lists on your site, and open the specific WPSP list, and change the Posts per page there.
We still however recommend using the GB Query Loop Block instead of this as WPSP has already been merged with GenerateBlocks. See: https://wpshowposts.com/weve-made-the-decision-to-merge-wp-show-posts-with-generateblocks/

Great thank you! So I am playing around with the Query Loop Block and while it does work to show a larger number of my posts on my home page, the size of the main photo for each post is massive. Is there a way I can create two rows of three columns instead of three rows of two columns? The default is set to two posts per row and the size is quite massive. Changing to three posts per row would make the main photo for each post smaller. Thank you for the help!

You can change the Query item width by altering the Post Template’s Container width. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuO4NrX
As for the Images, what’s occurring? Can you share the link where you’re testing the Query Loop Block so we can view it?

I have added the query loop. If you take a look, you can see that that post images are quite large and only fit two post images per row. Is there a way I can change things so three posts show per row instead of two? I hope that makes sense.

Yes, it’s possible. To do so, set the Container Width of the Post template Block to
33%. Example: https://share.getcloudapp.com/jkuO4NrXThen, for the images, you can set a Height value. You can also set the object-fit to cover so that it doesn’t get pixelated. Reference: https://docs.generateblocks.com/article/image-overview/
Can you try these?
