Hi
My first post at https://crazyoverdogs.com/blog/ is a featured post, but I want to insert a graphic ( https://crazyoverdogs.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Todays-Deals-final-1.jpg) here instead. Then link it directly to the vendor’s website through an affiliate link from the main blog page at https://crazyoverdogs.com/blog/ and not to a post and then to the vendor’s website. Is this possible?
Hope I have explained this correctly.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
so what happens to the Featured Post ? Is that still displayed but below this ‘banner’ image?

If you go to https://crazyoverdogs.com/blog/ I have now set up the graphic which is a featured post. It’s easier to show you.
If you click on the graphic it should take you to https://crazyoverdogs.com/save-money-on-todays-deals-for-dog-products/, which now features the featured image and the graphic below which has an affiliate link.
Visitors therefore have to click twice to get to the vendors ” Todays Deals”. I was wanting the graphic with the affiliate link to be incorporated into the graphic on the blog page at https://crazyoverdogs.com/blog/. This would avoid them clicking twice to get to the vendor’s “Deals Page”.
In addition, the page at https://crazyoverdogs.com/save-money-on-todays-deals-for-dog-products/, with two similar graphics is not appealing.
I hope I have made this clearer and I hope you can help me

StaffCustomer SupportHi Jeff,
I still don’t understand well about what you are trying to achieve?
Are you trying to insert the Today’s deal image with a link before the featured post on blog page?
If so, a block element should be what you are looking for:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/block-element-page-hero/You can add the image with a link to the block element, select
page heroas element type, chooseblogas location. Then the image should be showing between the featured post and the header.
Let me know if I miss anything.

Hi Ying
Thank you kindly for your valued reply. I am having problems loading the correct size of image. Can you please clarify what recommended size should the page hero image be.
Many thanks
Jeff

StaffCustomer SupportYour content container is 1200px wide, so that would be best width to set your image.
In the Block Element i would do this:1. Add a GenerateBlocks Container Block – by default it should have a 1200px inner width and no padding – just make sure thats the case.
2. Add an Image Block inside it. Then you can add a Link to the image block.November 4, 2021 at 11:24 am #1991640Jeff

Sincere thanks for clarifying my questions. That seems to have sorted it.
