Help Targetting Color of Link In Newsroom Footer Template
5 replies · Started by Manuel on March 15, 2023
I deleted the little element INSERT YOUR CONTACT FORM below the NEWSLETTER section in the footer of the NewsRoom template as I could not figure out how to drop code for the SENDY Mailer in it.
So I kept the NEWSLETTER text and made it into a link pointing to my newsletter signup page.
Problem is the link with the Blue in color hyperlink blends in to the black background in the footer.
Yes, I changed the color of the hyperlinks in the website to Blue in the customizer.
How do I make the text NEWSLETTER have the same color and hover colors gray and then white like the other links in the default footer?
Hi there,
If you select the headline block and set the link color for it in the block element, it should override the color set in the customizer.
Let me know if this helps!
It does not work.
The only way I can get back to the original color is to unlink the text.
Are you sure that you've set the LINK color and not just the Text for the headline block as Ying mentioned.

From inspecting the page, the link color isn't set.
Please clear and disable your caching and optimization plugins if this still doesn't work.
That worked. Thank you so much.
No problem :)
