Help! Can't install purchased addons AT ALL.

Hi - I just purchased GP Premium to upgrade the features on my new site's theme. I am able to download the .zip file (generatepress.1.2.4). I followed your very well laid out steps to upload and install in my plugins on wordpress....however....this is the message I get:
Unpacking the package…
Installing the plugin…
The package could not be installed. No valid plugins were found.
Plugin install failed.
??? Help, please.

Hi there,
generatepress.1.2.4 is the free theme file - that's not the file you want to install as a plugin.
When you purchased, you should have been emailed a download link for GP Premium. If you made an account, which it looks like you did, you can go to your account page (https://genertepress.com/account) and download the file as well.
Then install that .zip as a plugin, and you should be good to go.
