    Hi there,

    I´ve run into another alignment problem since my FOOTER headline in my German version

    underneath our logo (“Wir machen aus Daten in Masse Daten mit Klasse”) just won´t budge to my telling it to CENTER for tabloid and mobile use. I put CENTER wherever I got the chance, but it always stays at the left (which is cool for desktop, but not for tabloid and mobile).

    it even centers properly although all or most of the alignment the settings are set to align left!!!

    It´s a strange WP-world. My logic just doesn´t begin to cope with it!

    Hi there,

    select the headline block. And in Tablet and Mobile views go to Spacing > Margin and in Left and Right Margin type in auto

    What´s happening here?

    Those Headlines with the space to the side all have an empty Icon attached to them.
    Can you select each one and Clear the icon

    Hi David,

    yes, thank you, that could have helped, but I actually want the icons. The work well on my English site, but like all these icon svg-links were missing after I export-impotted the English pages into another subfolder to do the German version. And when I restate them now, they at least show up (not like my social icons at first), but the alignment is broken. If I try to change padding to move the copy away from the icon it doesn´t react:

    I am now copying the “good stuff” over from the English contact page to be used on the German kontakt page and it seems to work, but I am still trying to understand why it looks so different if you compare both versions/headlines although the have the same properties adhered to them in GenerateBlocks??!

    The ones with the additional space has some broken HTML inside them.
    Not sure how that got there i would suggest you delete those and build new ones.

    I think I know it now: By mporting the WP-import file you loose the link in the ICON SVG HTML box. So, you might think that simply getting the link from the original page and then paste it into the box would do the trick, but it doesn´t. You might end up not seeing these icons although they seem to be there quiet invisibly or the are not aligned as they used to be. But then I noticed that, when I pasted the <svg viewBox=….” code in the code didn´t align to the left of the box, but started kind of somewhere to the right of it. And there was something invisible which could not be seen, but deleted. So, now I just copied the old blocks from the English page over and it works!

    you seem to have crated a new support forum, which is kind of hard to reach. All ways lead to https://generate.support/, but a second login is required (!), which constantly fails. It´s not accepting the password!

    the new support forums amalgamates GeneratePress and GenerateBlocks support into one. It also relieves a lot of pressure from the main GP Product site which after 8 years and 10’s of thousands of topics is starting to feel the strain 🙂

    If I go to register, I get an support key, but only for GP not for GenerateBlocks. Here I’ll have to sign in first, but then I get the error nessage.
