Headings Hierarchy

How does GP handle headings?

From Inspect, it looks like H1 is used for both page and post titles? Is that correct?

I've set up my blog posts to use H2 and H3 for content structure.

H1 elements are used once per page with the main title, whether it's a single page or single post.

H2 elements are used for blog post titles on the actual blog, as there can only be 1 H1 per page.

So does this mean that when I write my content I should use H3 for my subheads?

Right now, I am using H2 and H3 for my subheads.
