How do I create a header for different categories/pages and assign a sidebar with different widgets on each
Thanks in advance
Hi there,
what changes to the Header do you want to make ?
To have different sidebar widgets you will need a plugin like this:
I may have said it incorrectly. I mean something like what is at the top of the site library's vinyasa theme.
Thank you
Aah ok - so thats a Header Element - this article explains:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-element-overview/
Watch Tom's video in the article to get a real good handle on how they work.
Let us know if you get stuck.
Hi David,
I watched Tom's video and when I hit publish and check it was not there. I followed the steps. Was I suppose to do something else before following the video
Can you link me to a post where you would expect to see the Header Element ?
I set it to be on all post. Just like Tom said in the video. https://onlinebusinesblog.com/online-business-pre-requisites/
Have you solved this?
I can see the page hero in the URL you've provided above:

Hi,
No I haven't solved it yet. It's not showing up on my site
Just to confirm, we are referring to the header element/page hero right?
If so I can definitely see it here:

If that's not showing up for you, can you try clearing your browser cache and use the incognito mode?
