Header with slider not resizing for smaller screens with Elementor

Hi All,

I'm using Generatepress with
Elementor
Smart Slider 3

I've created a header with a slider inside of it.
On desktops it looks great.
But when i resize the screen, the header size adjusts. But the original space the header took up remains the same. Creating a huge white space between the header and the actual text.
Only shows on smaller screens. Only when the page is made by elementor.
Has anyone encountered this before and what was the solution?
Any help would be appreciated.

Regards,

Mosche

Hi there,

I assume you have full screen option checked in page header?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/page-header-content/#fullscreen

It needs to be unchecked.

If you need the sliders to be full screen, you need to make the slider itself big enough/full screen instead of using full screen option in page header.

Let me know if this makes sense :)

Hi Leo,

Thanks for the info.
Upon inspecting the code I did see that that was the cause.
I unchecked it and it works like a charm.

Mosche

No problem!
