Header width

Hi all,
My header gets wider when it transitions to the sticky menu. Am I not seeing some kind of setting?
I'd like it to be exactly the same, maybe just a little bit less height.

Tnx!
Hi there,
This should help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/navigation-logo/#navigation-as-header
That's exactly what I was looking for :)
I moved the background video a bit upwards, but now the static header disappears under the video. The sticky one doesn't.
I can't find the right element to put a css on. Any ideas?
Tnx!
Are you wanting them to merge?
I'm not sure what you mean, but I'd just like the static header to be the same as the sticky one. Now only the sticky header shows up. I'm not sure where the static header is.. I think under the video
How did you move the background video up?
I used negative margin on the section or column of elementor
Can you remove that for now?
Yep!
So now it's all good? http://www.screencast.com/t/ZvuHvg2i6q0
The static navigation shows and it's exactly the same as the sticky navigation?
Sorry I'm not quite getting what you are trying to accomplish?
Well, I'd don't want to show the whole height of the video, because it takes up too much of the screen. So I moved it up a bit. But doing so, it covered the header (i think).
I would try to make the video container height a bit shorter within Elementor instead of using negative margin.
If I do that, I get black bars on the sides of the video. The youtube player keeps the aspect ratio.
Hmm in that case you might have to ask Elementor if there's solution for that.
I don't think there is a way to move the video up without covering/changing the static navigation.
Otherwise you would need to look at the merging option:

Okay thanks! I will look into that.
