Sarah
Hello, trying to figure out a couple things regarding the header:
-Need to remove the space above my logo
– Would like to remove the menu navigation items and just keep the hamburger nav menu for the main menuSeptember 6, 2017 at 10:18 pm #380768Leo
StaffCustomer SupportHi Sarah,
The site requires username and password to access so unfortunately I can’t see it.
For space above logo, try reducing the header padding first. If this doesn’t work then I would need to see the site.
So are you wanting a slideout navigation on desktop basically?

Hello, here you go so you can see the site, sorry about that: demo and e3e0713e
And yes, for desktop would like a hamburger menu with slideout nav.
Thanks!

StaffCustomer SupportYup reducing the header padding should work: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/header-padding/
Looks like you are wanting to merge? If so this should help: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/merging-header-navigation-content/
As for slideout navigation, add all menu items you want in a menu and set it to slideout navigation:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/using-the-wordpress-menu-builder/#setting-a-theme-locationThen just leave the primary navigation with no menu items.

Okay, sorry, everything resolved except for the slideout nav – I have it set to just the slideout and the only thing that shows is the text “home”, no hamburger icon. The only way I can get it to display is by selecting both the primary and slideout in the menus.
Here’s a screenshot

StaffCustomer SupportNot sure what you mean?
The primary menu should have no item in it.
All the items should be in slide-out menu and you need to activate it: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/activating-slide-out-navigation/

This is what I want the menu nav to look like: https://www.dropbox.com/s/elhp9r7unsblkp0/richmark-homepage-final.jpg?dl=0
This is what it looks like: richmark.wpengine.com, here a screenshot of my settings: https://www.dropbox.com/s/kggzvptitxo8uc2/Screen%20Shot%202017-09-07%20at%2012.47.11%20PM.png?dl=0
The primary menu has nothing in it. I only have 1 menu and slideout menu is selected and activated.

I don’t have a primary menu selected or set up. As mentioned, the only menu I have is the one I gave you a screenshot of.
September 7, 2017 at 12:07 pm #381226Leo
StaffCustomer SupportYou need to create a new empty menu and select it as primary menu as mentioned.

My misunderstanding, didn’t know there had to be a primary menu selected. This solved the issue. thanks
