    Hi there,

You can add this function to your child theme and then modify the contents: https://gist.github.com/generatepress/d58dd082dbd741943aee

    Adding PHP: https://generatepress.com/knowledgebase/adding-php-functions/

    Hi

I’ve been trying to alter my header as my right floating nav bar and header widget are overlapping and though my css is ok i cant

i essentially want a two column header with my logo on the left and a right hand column with two rows a top one with my header widget (social media and language switcher)
and a row below containing the nav which will hopefully scale down a little less chaotically than my current header. I can see how to change the order of the site logo and in the function but am not great at php so am a bit confused at how this integrates with the nav and would ideally like to incorporate the lgc-column classes into my header template file. Can you help? Sorry !

    Hi Becky,

Can you link me to your site so I can see the widget and navigation overlapping? That shouldn’t be happening.

    Let me know ๐Ÿ™‚
