header image to the center - also on page with blog

I have a questions, sure you can help me:
In my new webpage I am not working with a Logo, but I would like to insert as a header an image size 590 × 332 perfectly placed in the center of the container. But on another page I have a blog - also there I would like to center the header. I tried to do it with changing the space in „Kopfbereich“ - but it didn’t work. How shall I do that?
and I don’t really understand the difference between Kopfbereich und Beitragsbild (see 2nd printscreen).
