Tom, is it possible to have the header content>logo (in Customize) access the media library when 'select a file' is clicked?
I'm working on it - it's not offered in WordPress core as of right now, and I usually like to use core functions. When I find a good solution I'll definitely switch all of the uploaders to use the Media Library.
I wrote my own function that uses the Media Library, so the logo upload button will use the Media Library in the next version.
