For some reason, the theme's styling is overriding Elementor and outputting the featured image in the header above where my Elementor template begins. Can anyone help with this?
Hi there,
Any chance you can link us to the site in question?
You can use the private information field.
Let me know :)
Sure thing. I've included the information in the private information box. You can view an example of what I'm talking about on the Contact Us page. Thanks!
If you want to remove the featured image on just that page, then try the disable element metabox:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/disable-elements-overview/
If you want to remove the featured images for all pages, then you can disable it using the customizer option:
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adjusting-the-featured-images/
Let me know if this helps :)
When I go to Customize > Layout > Blog it only gives me the option to change between 'Content Type: Exerpt/Full Content'.
If you need to login to the WP backend, I included login information in the Private information box.
Is the blog module activated?
https://docs.generatepress.com/article/installing-gp-premium/#activate-your-modules
It wasn't, but I activated it and then disabled the Featured Image and the problem persists.
Are we still talking about the Contact page here?
If so looks like the issue is resolved?
I'm not seeing the featured image from GP on that page:

Thank you for checking. Yes, by the time you responded I deleted the original Contact page and created a new one, which resolved the issue. I don't know what was going on with the first page.
I appreciate all of your help!
No problem :)
