Header / Footer not showing full width

Can't seem to get my header and footer to actually go full width.

After selecting Full from Contained in Customizer it only adds on a small space and does not extend all the way to edge of browser. (Not sure if related, and I can live with it but there is also a faint like 1-2px space between my nav bar and header)..that you can also see ends where the "Contained" header dimensions stop.

On mobile Home Page the entire page can be swiped/scrolled to the left to expose that open white space, and be left off centered. Compared to just static left and right and classic up/down scrolling. While single post/pages do not have this left/right issue.
