Header Element crop is off on desktop

Hi,
I'm attempting to use header elements on both my home page and other pages.
On the homepage the header image is being cropped oddly. The other pages do not seem to have this issue.
On the reverse side, the header images for the other pages crop oddly on mobile and tablet, but look perfect on desktop.
I'm not finding a way to adjust the crop on my end.
They're the exact same image (the home page has additional text layered on top), and as far as I can tell I have the headers set up identically.
I'm not sure why they are cropping differently.

Also, are you adding any content on top of the page hero on the home page?
If not then it's best to just use a featured image instead.
