Header Element Template Tags

Hi.
I have created a header element. I have two questions:
1. Currently, I add template tags by copying and pasting. But is there a way to add just by clicking?
2. Is there a dynamic date template tag? I want to type in Last Updated {{post_date}} and have it reflect the last date the page was modified.

For question 1, currently no way to add template tags by clicking. But when GPP 2.0 released you'll be able to. Here's a demo video of the new feature of GPP and more info about it.

For question 2, in GPP 2.0 there's dynamic date tag, you could choose post date and updated date depends on your preference.
