Hi, could you help me please?
I´ve read the documentation and used differents sizes. Shouldn’t this be self-adjusting even though the weight may be higher or lower? (although in my case it is optimized)
I´m using the header element and the photo is cropped (on PC and mobile).
I´m using full screen. What size in px should I use to prevent this from happening?
Thank u
July 14, 2020 at 2:37 pm #1363620LeoStaffCustomer SupportHi there,
Background images are not responsive in nature – it’s not a theme thing.
I would say use a bigger image so it looks good on desktop, then we have a couple of options for mobile:
– Remove the original desktop image and use a specific mobile image.
– Reposition the background picture.Let me know which one you want to try (or both).
July 14, 2020 at 2:47 pm #1363641VeroniqueHi Leo, thanks for your reply.
I don’t know what to do because I have the problem in both (PC and mobile).
Please tell me both options to see which one works.July 14, 2020 at 2:50 pm #1363646LeoStaffCustomer SupportCan you try uploading an image that’s wider? Like 2000px in width?
Your current image is too narrow for the full width and full screen layout.
July 14, 2020 at 2:54 pm #1363651VeroniqueLa imagen que subí es de 2358 × 1893
No entiendo 😮July 14, 2020 at 2:56 pm #1363653LeoStaffCustomer SupportTry something like 2000 by 1000.
July 14, 2020 at 2:57 pm #1363655VeroniqueIt is as if it is too big. It cuts and does not come out complete
July 14, 2020 at 3:17 pm #1363659VeroniqueIt stays exactly the same.
In the video of you the complete photos appear. What size do they use?
Or what option do I have, pls? just a flat color background.July 14, 2020 at 8:51 pm #1363794LeoStaffCustomer SupportYour site is under maintenance mode now.
Can you disable it so I can see the issue with the new image?
Keep in mind that the image would show different on different size screens – it’s a background image which isn’t responsive.
July 15, 2020 at 8:42 am #1364543VeroniqueHi,
Sorry I closed it again. In Germany was 2am and the answer didn’t come.Don’t worry, thanks for your attention.
On a responsive theme it doesn’t help that header images aren´t responsive. Once again, I must use Elementor to cover up the deficiencies of the theme.
I wanted to make the web only with GP Premium, but I see Elementor Pro should be used for any theme.
Have a nice day.

Background images aren’t responsive by nature – it’s not a theme thing.
If you use the background image method in Elementor then it won’t be responsive either.
July 15, 2020 at 10:18 am #1364675VeroniqueHow could I then create a full screen header with an image, please?
July 15, 2020 at 12:06 pm #1364770LeoStaffCustomer SupportCan you disable the maintenance page?
July 15, 2020 at 12:49 pm #1364819VeroniqueOops! I just saw the message …. Yes, I already open the web for you.
I understood what you told me. I am testing with the images but I manage to manipulate them with Elementor.
I care more about how they look on the mobile and based on that I am doing it.
I can’t find in GP how to modify, very limited. If you know how I can do it, I would really like to work with GP and not depend so much on Elementor.
Thank you very much
July 15, 2020 at 12:52 pm #1364822Veroniqueplease ignore the background color! it’s just for reference while I place myself in the image
