[Support request] header clean-up

Hello,

Would you advise making the header clean-up changes shown here: https://bhoover.com/remove-unnecessary-code-from-your-wordpress-blog-header/

Or is removing any of them going to interfere with GP or GB (or core wordpress functionality for that matter).

I’m thinking mainly from a performance/speed standpoint — better to leave them in or to add the filters that remove them?
…just trying to do a little clean-up but wanted to check on your insights 🙂

Hi there,

I wouldn’t remove any of those things – they should have very little to do with the performance of your site.

The theme itself doesn’t add any unnecessary code
