I have tried various “sticky menu” type plugins, but not having much luck. They will make a text widget stick in the sidebar but I am trying to get the testimonials widget to stick, which I can’t get to work. Just wondering if you have any ideas how to fix this? My website is http://www.bendigodogtraining.com.au/wordpress

It depends on the plugin you’re using – does it let you specify a class to stick?

If so, try this class: widget_sp_testimonials

Hi Tom, thanks for your reply. I just tried what you suggested using the class, but no dice. That is using WP Stickit. Have also tried Q2W3 which just has a box you tick in the widget section on each widget, but it doesn’t work either.

    Hmm, that’s weird.

Have you checked with the developers with either of those plugins to see if they have any ideas?

Hi Tom, just letting you and anyone else interested know that I fixed the problem by using shortcodes in the testimonial widget instead of the widgets own tick box. Now the testimonial widget sticks nicely.
