How do I choose "System Stack" like I used to if I don't want to load any fonts, but I still want to make adjustments to size etc? Sorry, you know I love you guys, but this is awful.

Hi there,

do this:

1. DO NOT add any Fonts to the Font Manager.
2. Set a Typography Element to Body, and set its Font Family to: System Default
3. Set any other typogrpahy element font families to: Inherit

if you want you can create your own font stacks.
In that case you can add a New Font to the Font Manager and in the Font Family field enter your font stack eg.

-apple-system, BlinkMacSystemFont, avenir, segoe ui, helvetica neue, roboto, noto, arial, sans-serif;

Now you have your very system stack to select :)

I too find the new font features overwhelming, SLOW, and tedious. I install the old GP 3.03 theme, and the GP premium 2.02 premium plugin. Do all of my setup there, then update. GP is rapidly becoming as convoluted as DIVI.

Been doing sites since 1995, and been using GP for about 5 years. TOO many changes, I don't want to have to relearn something every few months....Just because you can does not mean you need to.

Might as well migrate to Webflow if I want to have to keep learning a new UI.

Hi there,

i am sorry to hear you feel that way.
Is there anything particular you feel we could do better ? Constructive criticism is always welcome.
