Has JQuery been updated?

I have a problem. I have installed three different plugins and they each are not working. I found out from one of them that I was getting javascript errors. Has GP updated to the latest version?

Sorry not quite sure what's going on here. What errors are you getting?
I'm using the plugin Popup Maker. The developer says if the program doesn't work, then there is a javascript error. I don't know if that is true or not. I'm doing a process of elimination. Is JQuery at version1.12 in GP? If it is, then my error is else where.
GP uses the built in version of jQuery that comes with WordPress. I believe it's at 1.12.4 right now.

That's something WordPress will have to update - if they don't already have a ticket for it, you can definitely start one.

I realize that this post dates back almost 3 years ago.
Can GeneratePress utilize the latest version of jQuery?
If yes, can it be enqueued by the functions.php file?
If so, what is the recommended code for it?
Are you using the sticky navigation option? If not then the theme does not require and does not load jQuery.
Might be good to open a new topic if you need further help on this.
