I switched to Generate Press about 6 months ago.

Just reviewing my Bing Webmaster and Google Webmaster reports. Bing only drives about 10% of my web searches to my site. On my latest report it showed:

“There are multiple <h1> tags on the page”
“Remove redundant <h1> tags from the page source, so that only one <h1> tag exists”

I do not get the same report message on Google Webmaster.

There is a slight decrease in indexed pages with Bing compared to Google, but I dont think its anything to worry about.

Any idea with the theme that could be causing this or is it a Bing Webmaster only problem?

    Hi there,

the Theme only outputs 1 x H1 on any given page, post or archive. So these would have to be within the sites content.

Can you share a link to one of the pages where this was displayed and i can take a look.

You have an extra <h1> added within the page hero.

Remove that and use a comment for the content instead:

Let me know if this helps ๐Ÿ™‚
