Hi, there is an issue when I use the WordPress Gutenberg editor, It automatically saves a new post/page as Autodraft and all the items disappears.

I have debugged this issue with WPX, the host and we couldn’t find a solution.

We disabled theme, plugins and still, no solution. This issue occurs on one other site using GeneratePress, also hosted on WPX, but not on two other websites with the same host and also using GeneratePress theme.

Please advise, if you have ever encountered the issue?

    Hi there,

not encountered this issue or had it reported.
Older versions of Gutenberg had a similar problem when a post was saved without a title – but this was resolved about 9 months ago.

Debug after ensuring WP is up to date.
Check if there are any errors reported in the Tools > Site Health.
Disable all other plugins, hooks and custom functions to see if there is a conflict.

Is there a way to share a temporary login with you. Because we have tried the above.

    Steps to recreate issue:

    – Add a new page

    – Add a Page Title

    – Add some text to the body of the post/page

    – Save or Preview

    – It would change the title to Autodraft and all the text in the body will be gone.

Does the same issue exist if you test it with a twenty series WP theme?

    Yes, it does.

Then that’s definitely a WordPress issue unrelated to the theme.

Maybe try checking with the WordPress support and see if they’ve seen or heard similar issues?

Another solution is to try to reinstall WordPress and see if that helps.

Reinstalling WordPress didn’t help, tried that earlier. I have posted on WordPress Support, I will keep you updated.
