Gutenberg Lost My Header Widget
5 replies · Started by Brett on April 12, 2022
I went from using Classic Editor to using Gutenberg blocks a few weeks back. I just noticed that it trashed my Header widget. I was able to get the icon image back into the header block, but the ability to press the image in the header and go to the home page is gone.
Isn't that a feature of WordPress core? Surely, I don't have to force an HTML block and set up the link in there?
Have any thoughts?
Brett
Hi Brett,
I can't access your site, I'm located in Canada.

If your icon is an image, you can add link to an image block, check the link setting section of the below article:

Sorry, I forgot we had it locked down. Take another look.

Nevermind. I figured out my problem. The Site Icon Setting got dropped for some reason.

Thanks!
Glad you figured it out :)
