[Support request] gutenberg in elements header

How can I use gutenberg in the element header type?
When I want to create a header element I only get the classic WordPress editor and it is very difficult to create beautiful header hero designs for my websites.
The forum thread that talks about this topic is from 2019 and I understand that it is outdated. Could it be that I am doing something wrong and it is possible to use gutenberg and I have not seen how to do it?
