Math
Hi,
After the recent update, the Grid layout which I had set previously isn’t displaying properly in the editor. It seems to be working fine on the published page though. Do you happen to know why?

Hi Math,
Which update are you referring to specifically? Is it a GenerateBlocks update or GeneratePress update?

To be honest, I haven’t checked on this page for several months and just noticed it now. Should I just email the GB team?
Thank you.

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
if you’re using GB Free and GB Pro. Can you make sure they are both the latest versions?

Can you try resaving the Global styles you have?

I tried re-saving and it’s still the same. I cleared all the cache on the browser and the site, but still the same.
Any other ideas?

StaffCustomer SupportIn the editor, you can see the warning message that says:
This Global Style is using the new layout system and may not work with this Container block.
As your global style is using the new system, the container you are applying to is using the old layout, so they don’t get along 🙂
Try converting the old containers to a new layout system by toggling off the
Use legacy layout system
option.

Hi Ying,
Is there a way to convert the entire page into the new system? It’s going to be incredibly time-consuming to go through each block trying to convert them to the new system.
Thank you.

No, unfortunately. It has to be done one container at a time.
A workaround might work is to duplicate an existing Grid block which is using the legacy system to the global style, then you should be able to apply this global style to your legacy containers, and you don’t have to convert them to the new system.

I understand, this is what we are doing for all the sites in our site library.
