grid horizontal gap creates overflow

hi team,
please see the attached screenshot. horizontal gap settings creates space on the left edge. when i delete the horizontal gap it's fine?
Hi there,
grids with Gap have a negative margin to offset the gap spacing, without that their content alignment will be incorrect. This does not cause any horizontal scroll - so what is the issue with that being there?
