[Support request] Grey screen loads after the photo on the home page

Hey guys i’ve noticed on few sites that whenever i use Elementor or page header and add background photos i get this grey thing loading with the photo.

Any ideas?

I already tried different sizes of the background picture, seems to help a bit but still…;[

The photo right now is 1.3 MB for the test.

I’ve installed a demo site to test it out.

Hi there,

on that particular site what you are seeing first is the background color that is set as an overlay for the image, this loads before the image does. To reduce that impact i would suggest drastically reducing the size of the image.
