gradient background

Hi,
I would like the main background on my website to be a gradient. I want all headers, menus, page content etc to be transparent and just sit over the gradient. I see that there are many posts regarding gradients and it seems the only way to do it is to dig in to code. That seems unbelievable that there is no gradient option integrated on the site builder.. I am complete novice and am intimidated by the coding aspect. What is my move here?
Hi there,
A little bit of code is required which we can help.
You should be able to just do this:

Adding CSS: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adding-css/
Let me know if you need more info :)
Thanks for all your help! That seemed to get me most of the way there, but now I have an issue where the gradient repeats in another section under the footer... Any thoughts on that?
Thanks again
Any chance you can link us to the site in question?
You can edit the original topic and use the private URL field.
Let me know :)
I think I did it. Please let me know if that works..
I'm not seeing another section after the footer?
