GP/WP: How to make address "domain.com/whatever/page"
4 replies · Started by Dmitry Bychenko on January 8, 2016
When creating a new page its address normally looks like "domain.com/page_name".
How to create a page using WP or GP tools, that would have address "domain.com/whatever/page_name"?
You would go to "Settings > Permalinks" to set your URL structure.
Thanks for answer!
No, i mean not this.
I set up new posts to look like "domain.com/%postname%.html"
it's fine.
New pages, tags and categories by default, its ok too.
I would like to make few new pages their address to look like "domain.com/free/lesson 1", ".../free/lesson2", ".../free/lesson3"
How to add prefix "/free/" to these particular pages only?
I've found solution, closing topic.
Create page, call it whatever, for example "free",
Create pages you want, call them whatever, for example "lesson1", "lesson2", "lesson3",
Go to Pages, open page you want to apply child-parent settings,
in Page Attributes section set child-parent dependencies
associate pages "lesson1", "lesson2",.. with page "free",
save.
Glad you found a solution - thanks for posting it here! :)
