GPP+Elementor premium (header and footer)

Hi,
I am using GPP and Elementor Pro.
I want to create footer using elementor Pro so pls let me know after creating footer with elementor what i have to do in Generatepress? do i have change any settings in generatepress? and will the GP footer and Elementor footer will conflict?

There shouldn't be any conflicts.
Once you've created the header and footer with Elementor, you can insert the shortcode using a hook element:

But I am having a doubt, Why I have to insert the shortcode using hook?
When I made the header and publish it the elementor header is automatically coming in the theme.
Still I have to use hook?

Yes it is working fine,
I thought maybe we had to do some settings so that there won't be any conflicts in the theme code.
I have attached my staging site.can you pls check and let me know if everything is fine?
Looks fine to me.
I'm not seeing any GP's code on that page.
