Hi everyone,

With GPP2 now fully released, I have a question re WooCommerce.

I seem to recall that somewhere (sorry can't find it, but may have been David B on Facebook), mentioned that this release does not work with Woo Products.
(from a dynamic content point of view!)
As Woo Products are a CPT/Custom Fields, I'm wondering why ?

TIA, Dave

GP's Block Element Content template manipulates GeneratePress hooks and filters.

It doesn't work for WooCommerce Product templates because it has its own hooks for the HTML it renders. The Content template feature wasn't coded to manipulate these plugin-specific hooks and filters. Tom prefers to not write integration for any specific plugins with the exception of GenerateBlocks for obvious reasons(same developer). :)

OK, thanks for the feedback!

Hi there,

just a note - we are looking at Woocommerce as an option for the Block Element Content templates - but as Elvin mentioned there are some 'concerns' about integrating with other plugin templates as they may change in the fullness of time. But its definitely something we would like to do if we can find a future proof method.

Thanks David,
I will look at other options (of which there are many) for customising Woo layouts...
Best regards, Dave

I would be interested to see any examples of what you're trying to achieve ! Let me know

Will do...
