Hi Tom,
My portfolio is created with the generate sections and I had a revolution slider shortcode in the top section. Everything was fine until I updated. I did the GP update (as well as a few others) and now it seems that the slider is no longer working. I touched base with Revolution Slider and they suggested that I try disabling all my plugins until I found the one that might be causing the problem but no luck. Any thoughts?
Thanks,

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperWeird, just keeps spinning and spinning.
WordPress released an update (4.2.3) at the same time as my update which caused a lot of issues as well, but I assume the devs over there would know about any issues regarding that.
What if you add the slider shortcode on a fresh page not using Sections?

It does the same thing in a fresh page. I feel like it might be Javascript problems as my contact form 7 is also having issues with the table showing.

So I have another almost identical website. I decided to install the updates one by one to see if there was a problem with the update. It worked fine and beautifully. I decided to restore an old copy of the website from a week ago and everything was fine when I updated the old version. I think it is a Revolution Slider problem…I’ll continue to work on it and let everyone know what the problem/solution was. Thanks for taking a look.

So I had exported the slider set as a backup and when I re-imported the zip file back into Revolution Slider for whatever reason it didn’t like it. I ended up rebuilding everything from scratch and it worked fine, actually I think it’s better. Hopefully this solution will work for anyone else with this problem. Thanks for your help like always.

Lead DeveloperLead DeveloperWeird, something must have corrupted when you imported it.
Glad it’s all working now 🙂
