November 9, 2017 at 10:34 pm #420332TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperHi there,
That password isn’t working for me.
If the images are supposed to be cropped and aren’t, it’s because the new image resizer is waiting for your server to have enough resources to crop the images. This is to prevent over memory usage and other server related issues.
You can force the images to crop manually using these instructions: https://docs.generatepress.com/article/adjusting-the-featured-images/#fix-images-not-cropping
Of course, without seeing your site, this is all just a guess π
November 9, 2017 at 10:36 pm #420333DetlefWow … ig you wanna see:
http://www.wein-kraemer.de PW kraemer.
May you see more .. but it may be the image resizer.
November 9, 2017 at 10:40 pm #420335TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperAh, my guess was wrong.
Your posts are using WP Show Posts, which shouldn’t have been affected by the GPP update at all (two completely separate things).
What are your image sizes set to in your WPSP settings for that list?
November 9, 2017 at 10:44 pm #420339Detlefwidth 800px
height 400pxcenter and above titel

November 9, 2017 at 10:47 pm #420341TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperAny chance you can send me temporary admin login details?: https://generatepress.com/contact/
November 10, 2017 at 10:09 am #420967TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperHmm, so I removed the image dimensions completely so the full image should display, and it’s still trying to display the resized images.
Any server caching? Cloudflare?
If not, can you try deactivating your other plugins one by one to see if one of them is causing it?
November 10, 2017 at 10:26 am #420989DetlefHey … Tom … I can not image wath it may be.
May we try REGENERATE THUMBNAILS?
I try.

November 10, 2017 at 10:36 am #420995TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperNo caching at all? It’s weird that the settings aren’t updating.
Did you try deactivating your other plugins? If you can’t, I can take a copy of your site and try it on my test server later today.
November 10, 2017 at 10:38 am #421000DetlefHey Tom,
no Chaching at all … we may take a copy …. should it make a copy via Dublicator? And in which way I send it to you?
Detlef
November 10, 2017 at 10:39 am #421001TomLead DeveloperLead DeveloperYea, Duplicator would be great. You can send me the .zip via email: support@generatepress.com
November 10, 2017 at 10:45 pm #421358DetlefI found out that the Pixelsize (uploaded to WP) make the differenz. Images with 2000 px are shown. Smaler one will not display via WP Post.
And die Pixel dimension in WP-Post have no more effects on the Frontpage (still original dimension)
