GP premium won't install

I just downloaded 1.2.94 gp-premium from my account for a new site, but when I uploaded it into themes it won't install, the message I receive is:
"Installing Theme from uploaded file: gp-premium-1.2.94.zip
Unpacking the package…
Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
Theme install failed."
Can you advise what the problem might be please?

This happened to me too! Maybe for us noobs you should put a little statement on the download page that states: "This is a plug-in, not a new theme."
Yeah I wish WordPress would just realize that it's a plugin and install as a plugin.
