Glenn
Hi there,
I have the Generate Press theme with the GP Premium plugin installed.
Also have the PPOM for WooCommerce by N-MEDIA and N-Media WooCommerce PPOM PRO plugins installed for extra product field addons.
Until a recent update by GP and/or PPOM all worked OK.
Problem: When you add to cart with the add to cart button basically nothing happens, the page just reloads and nothing is added to the cart. In fact, if you try to add to cart with empty required fields you don’t even get the required fields error message. But if you deactivate the GP Premium plugin then all works OK.
So it appears that the GP Premium and PPOM/PPOM PRO plugins have a conflict?
Do you happen to have any idea what might be causing this? I have N-Media checking on their end as well.
Thanks.
Glenn

StaffCustomer SupportHi Glenn,
Can you go to appearance > Generatepress, disable all premium modules?
If it works, try activating modules one at a time to check which module is causing the issue.
Let me know 🙂

Hi there,
OK, it is the WooCommerce module that has the conflict, the one I need. If you deactivate it, all works OK.

StaffCustomer SupportI don’t believe it’s an issue on GP’s end here as nothing has changed for that module.
Can we wait for the plugin’s response first?

Hi there,
Thanks for the info. Still waiting to hear back from N-Media.

Hi there,
Following is the response from N-Media support …
“PPOM is working fine for all themes and plugins without any issue so if one specific plugin or theme issue with PPOM it means it has some blocking script or overrides the hooks. Better if you also involve their support and we will also try to look at our end.”
Thx.

StaffCustomer SupportHi Glenn,
Can you link us to a sample page w/ the issue and let us observe what exactly happens to the add to cart button when clicked?

StaffCustomer SupportHi there,
in Customizer > Layout > Woocommerce can you disable all of the options to see if one of them is conflicting.

Hi there,
OK, I did all that and the ‘Display add to cart panel on scroll’ does appear to be conflicting. When that option is UNchecked the add to cart functions seem to work normally.

StaffCustomer SupportYeah that function isn’t designed for anything more then woos built in simple or variable products. It won’t handle the custom variations that plugin is adding – so you will need to leave the feature disabled.
