Hi,

Updating my GP Premium plugin I get the following message: https://imgur.com/LvV1rSQ

My authentification key seems to be working okay. And it's been less than a year since I purchased GP Premium.

Also: My other plugins were able to update without experiencing this error.

Any ideas what this might be? I'm a WP Administrator with full permissions.

Thank you for your help.

Hi David,

Clicking "Save" on my GP license and trying again seemed to do the trick.

Thank you for your help!

Glad to be of help

Had the issue. Used your suggestion and Presto! No more issue. Many thanks, Pierre

Awesome - glad you found this useful. The Docs library is full of useful tips :)

>> Click "Save" on the GP license << works. Many thanks :-)

Glad to hear that!

Thank you, David, your suggestion solved this issue for me also.

Glad to hear that!

I just had this problem today. I had to go into my client's website and manually click the Save button and then the update would proceed. Does development know of this issue?

Hi Toby,

Yes we are aware of it but this isn't an "issue" - it's simply how license keys work.

The license key is attached to the site URL so when the site URL changes (eg from staging to live), the license key would need to be re-authorized by resaving.

Take a look at this article and an alternative method without logging into your client sites:
