GP Premium update broke my site

Hello,

I received an email telling me that my GP Premium license expires soon. The email said that if I choose not to renew, I should "log into your account now to download the latest version, as you will not be able to download it once your license expires". Because I decided not to renew, I did as the message instructed.

Then I checked my site and things were not okay. The logo disappeared on all pages except the homepage, the writing and containers from other pages were off.

Could you please let me know what to do?

- Please note I haven't modified anything on my website in months. This is the only thing I did.

Thank you,

Hi there,

the logo issue is related to the Image URL being HTTP and not HTTPS. So some browser will block it for security reasons.

Simple fix would be to save your original logo file with a slightly different name, upload it to WordPress and then add this to your Customizer > Site Identity - this should ensure the file is requested over HTTPS.

The other issues i am not sure what to look for ? Can you share a screenshot of the problem ?

Hi David,

Thank you for your answer!

The issues I am writing about were not happening before I updated GP Premium, a couple of hours ago. Everything was working fine - the logo appeared, the other things were normal. I would really like to revert to the a previous version of GP Premium. I don't know what version I had before updating tonight.

Could you let me know how I can revert? I am thinking to restore my website to the point before the update. Do you recommend that?

Thank you

Can you go to your Plugins list, and check what version of GP Premium you have installed ?

Hi,

Now I have Version 2.0.3 .

Hello,

I believe the problem is elsewhere. Thank you for your assistance.

Yeah thats the latest stable version of the GP Premium plugin, and we try to ensure updating wouldn't cause any issues.

Let us know how you get on resolving the issue.
