GP Premium Menu + not responsive on hover

Not sure what you mean by cascade menu items?

Hover doesn't work on mobile (as you can't hover with your finger), so you need to tap the dropdown arrow to expand menu items.

Thanks for the quick response. I can't get Hover to expend on mobile by taping the dropdown arrow. I prefer the "click - menu item," but on the PC it expands the menu items vertically rather than to the right, which is more readable. Is there any way to have it both ways.

Thanks again for the help. So far I have avoided using CSS. I am using GP Premium. I see Hooks, but nothing looks like it would apply in this case. I see Additional CSS in WP 4.7, but I'm can't seem to find where to add the CSS. I tried adding in the Layout section where the menu options are listed, but it did not do anything.

Any help would be appreciated.

No. Hover works great on a PC. And it, of course, does not work on a mobile. What I'm looking for is for the site to work as hover when using a PC and Click on Menu Item when on a mobile. The SCC code you referenced works great for the Click on Arrow, but the Arrow is difficult to hit on a mobile. I would like to do the same thing but have it work on Click on Menu Item. This gives a much larger target for the finger. Can this be done with simple CSS.

I agree that this would be a useful feature - it's not possible with CSS but I'll look into making it an option to force the full menu item click only on mobile.

Looking at the code, if you set up the link as a Custom Link with the URL "#", it will make it so the entire menu item is clickable on mobile.
