GP Premium Conflict with Beaver Builder

Hi there,
We are having some strange behavior with our page builder plugin Beaver Builder that seems to be sourced from updating to the latest version of GP Premium.
In essence the BB plugin is unusable. When we ran debug, it appears to be because of a conflict from the theme calling to a function from the 2017 theme.
Thoughts?
The client is requesting some edits to the site, and we are at a stand still until this is resolved.

Is this a staging site? If not, can you try creating a staging site and disable all non-GP plugins except for Beaver Builder to test?

Thoughts? Would this be a BB or GP conflict?
One way to check is to try a different theme temporarily and see if BB will work with that plugin activated.
