I wanted to ask if there are any Premium child thems for Generate Press ? or if there are plans by people-devs that work with GP for creating premium child themes

@Tom suggestion, I would loooove a lightweight child Theme similar to the Newspaper theme:

But a looooot more lightweight ! (When I mean lightweight I mean “lightweight” when it comes to page loading speed, i.e. don’t include 25 CSS stylesheets and 19 javascript libraries that aren’t used)

I agree with Benjamin. A lightweight version of the popular Newspaper theme would be great to have as a GeneratePress Child Theme.

Any update on the more complex child themes? Are they going to be business type themes?

+1 on the newspaper style one as well, have been wanting to change my personal blog from newspaper for a year or so and now with their new page builder live I want to fast forward the move.

I have a plan in place for a child theme-like system. They won’t actually be child themes, but they will be just as good (better).

This idea will be a new add-on, which is planned to be released before the end of the year.

Just piling onto an old thread here… I too am really looking forward to this!! Was searching for a child theme to help me along (a bit in the woods), when I came across this thread, which sounds EXACTLY right!
