GP Child Theme --> Beaver Builder Not Working

This is odd and I have never run into this issue until now. Building out a new site and all of a sudden, I noticed I can only access Row settings inside Beaver Builder. I can no longer select modules inside a Row. At first, I thought it was the GP Premium plugin based on deactivating all plugins to test each one. But after more testing, this was not the case.
What I did find was that if I activate the 2020 theme, BB works properly. When I activate the GP theme, BB works properly. It is only when I activate the GP Child theme, then BB no longer works properly. I originally followed this article to get a GP child theme installed.

Any ideas what could have gone wrong recently to cause BB not to work properly when using a GP child theme?

Have you added anything in function.php file of the child theme?
If so can you temporarily disable them and see if the problem is fixed?

Thanks Leo. There was only 1 function in that file. I disabled: function generatepress_child_enqueue_scripts()
The problem still persisted. Only worked if I used another theme. Any ideas on troubleshooting this?
That is really strange - we haven't had any other reports on this.
Can you try installing a fresh one from here just to test?
