GP and WooCommerce show Product and Variation when added to cart

Hi - I'm looking to have the variation text aswell as the name of the product when "Product" has been added to your cart.
I'm hoping to find a way for the text to read
"Product - variation" has been added to your cart View Cart.
The variation shows in the cart but I'm hoping for a way when you select add to cart the info bar will show the variation selected too.

not sure about this as its Woocommerce thats responsible for that notice. Found this on stack that seems to do the job:
