Hi all, I think the heat on Vancouver Island is getting to me. I’ve installed GP 3.0.0 on a reset WP website to give it a go, but I can’t for the life of me find the option to use flexbox grid rather than the legacy floats. I’ve looked in the documents, but I can’t see it there either. I’m probably being blind, but can you please let me know where to switch?
Hi Jason,
That option is located on Appearance > Customize > General. You should be able to see a dropdown under Structure.

To read more about it, please visit this link. – https://docs.generatepress.com/article/switching-from-floats-to-flexbox/
I have the same problem. The category “Structure” and the option to switch from floats to flexbox are not there.
Theme: GeneratePress Premium up to date 2.2.1
Plugin: GenerateBlocks up to date 16.0
I need to accomplish the switch to flexbox or move on to a different builder.
Please help.
by default, any new install of 3.0 will use the Flexbox structure. And there is no option in the customizer to change that.
If you want to share a link to the site i can take a look at what is using ?
Thank you very much for your reply.
Here’s my site: https://instinctweb.com/tom/mso-wp/
If my install is already flexbox, if I insert a grid block, is the grid flexbox too?
I think I’m getting it. To get to flexbox settings, I need to select a container and give it a minimum height. Then I see vertical alignment options. Where will I find the rest of flex settings. Is there documentation or a video that spells it out?
