GP 2.0 Beta - Dynamic Image Block Image Types

Are there any plans to allow selecting "Post Meta" as an image type for the Dynamic Image Block? As I do with "Dynamic Background Images" for containers, I'd like to be able to select custom field (ACF).

This is planned in the next beta version as long as we don't run into any roadblocks :)

is there any documentation which describes how to select and show acf-fields in blocks?
would be very helpful.

Hi there,

We don't have a specific tutorial for ACF, but the demo in this video includes content from custom filed. Hope it's somewhat useful :)

i know this video, but i cannot figure out how to select acf fields. they don´t show up to be selected? thanks for a hint.

Hi there,

heres an example:

1. Add a Headline Block
2. From the Dynamic Options > Dynamic Text Type select Post Meta.
3. In the Meta Field Name add the name (key) of your ACF field.
